I teach basic Christian ethics to my freshmen students every year. The show "24" is a favorite among students as well as myself, and I think I'll use this tag as a lead in to discuss the issue. Jack Bauer deals with ethical dilemmas in every episode...

Interesting... in fact, Supreme Court Justice Scalia mentioned Jack Bauer in a recent discussion on the ethics of torture. Seems he agrees with Jack's ethics that torturing 1 is OK of it might save millions.
Maybe in a couple years TV shows can make all our ethical decisions for us. Whew! No more lugging that Bible to church - your video iPod will be much lighter.
