I've been up since 3:20...wide awake...so strange.
Oh well, so far its been a great morning.
I spoke on Acts 8:26-40 last night about Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch. Its a great story about how God leads & directs us to opportunities to share about Him. I had two main points from last night:
1. God's guidance
2. Philip's obedience
And the more time I spent with the passage, I was amazed at both.
Praying that God would reveal to us the opportunities around us to open up our mouths and let the Spirit speak through us!

have I mentioned to you that after teaching all the way through Acts last year, I made a top ten list of Verses/passages. The Ethiopian eunuch passage was in the Top 10. The Lord's instruction is so basic and simple. Go up and join this chariot. Okeedokee. He is basically saying "just obey in this ridiculously simple instruction and I will take care of the rest"
Yeah, after preaching last night, it quickly moved up into one of my favorite passages in Acts as well. I love the verse that says he opened up his mouth and preached Jesus to him. Beautiful. I guess when you're filled with the Spirit (Acts 6) and you open your mouth, the Spirit's gonna come out.
